Pigskin Preview Brings College Teams From Across GA to Macon

Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt relays a consistent message of enthusiasm for his Bulldog team of 2011. With a highly touted recruiting class and a strong field general in quarterback Aaron Murray, Richt believes his team could be special.

On the defensive side of the ball Richt says his team has a better understanding of the 3-4. After defensive coordinator Todd Grantham implemented the system last year.

“The coaches are much more comfortable, the players are much more comfortable. I think we’ve got the right players in the right positions. You know being able to recruit an entire class toward this defensive scheme,” said Richt.
