According to Piedmont, an estimated 40 million Americans suffer from substance use disorder. Piedmont Macon Behavioral Health offers different programs to help address the condition.
James says the facility provides both inpatient and outpatient services, including individual and group therapy, education, and aftercare planning to support recovery.
Programs are designed to help patients stabilize medically and psychologically before transitioning to longer-term care. Piedmont also offers resources for dual diagnosis treatment and relapse prevention.
