MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Reality television veteran Phaedra Parks is back in the spotlight as the newest season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta gets underway.

She originally appeared on the show from 2010 to 2017 and rejoined the cast in 2024, bringing renewed attention to one of the franchise’s most recognizable figures.

Before her rise in reality television, Parks built a career as an attorney, leading her own firm, The Parks Group. In recent years, she has expanded her presence across multiple reality platforms, including appearances on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip and Married to Medicine. She also gained widespread recognition for her strategic gameplay on The Traitors in 2024.

Her return to Atlanta’s reality scene comes as the new season is already generating buzz, including early attention surrounding behind-the-scenes tension involving fellow cast member Drew Sidora. Reports of unaired moments and shifting dynamics among the group have fueled anticipation as the season unfolds.

Beyond television, Parks also has ties to Middle Georgia. She attended Wesleyan College in Macon, adding a local connection as she re-enters one of Bravo’s most talked-about series.

With new episodes airing weekly on Sundays at 8p.m., Season 17 is expected to deliver evolving alliances, personal storylines, and the signature drama that has defined the franchise for more than a decade.
