Person shot in both legs in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One person is in stable condition after being shot in both legs Monday night.

A news release by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported that Quintorrius Hightower was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health after being shot during an altercation.

The incident happened just before 11:30 Monday night.

The news release said that Hightower and a friend went to a house on Hatcher Place and proceeded to get into an argument with another man near the house, leading to the shooting.

Hightower was driven to the hospital by his mother, who was nearby at the time of the assault.
