Perry Chamber President Leaving for Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A familiar face in middle Georgia has a new gig.

Stacy Campbell has served as president and CEO of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce since last April.  Next spring, she’ll start work as Director of Communications for the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter.

Under her leadership at the chamber, the Dogwood Festival expanded to include hot air balloons and the “Dock Dogs” event.

In a release, chamber chairman Beth McLaughlin said Campbell will leave the chamber in great shape.

“It’s great that she will be right across the street!” McLaughlin wrote.  “We look forward to working with her in the new role come spring, where she will continue to build relationships not only for the Agricenter, but for all of Perry.”

Campbell will stay on at the chamber through the spring to help transition the new president.  A search for that president will begin early next year.
