Perdue kicks off campaign with rally in Perry
PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Republican candidate for U.S. Senate David Perdue hosted a rally bringing more than 200 guests to the Georgia International Fairgrounds Sunday afternoon.
Perdue spoke after Congressman Austin Scott, State. Rep Allen Peake and other supporters made their remarks.
The candidate says he hopes to help turn the nations economy around.
He adds he wants to work on cutting the amount of spending the U.S. does.
Perdue says he, and his opponent, Democratic candidate Michelle Nunn plan to have several debates in the upcoming year.
