Pedestrian killed in Crawford County accident

ROBERTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man killed in a tractor trailer accident.

According to a news release, 63-year-old Bennie Green was walking on Highway 341 South when a semi-truck hit him around 10:30 p.m., Sunday.

Green was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Georgia State Patrol is assisting in the investigation.
