Pedestrian Hit By Train, Macon Police Investigating

PAYNE CITY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon police are investigating an incident involving a pedestrian who was hit by a train in Payne City Wednesday morning.

The accident happened at the train tracks near Brookdale Avenue..

MPD says the victim, a 34-year-old white male, was transported to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injures and is expected to be okay.

The train company, Norfolk-Southern, is also investigating the incident.

No other information is available at this time.
