Peach County Toy Drive returns to help families this holiday season
FANHAM Charities will host its fifth annual toy drive in Byron on December 20.
PEACH COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Families in Peach County will have extra support this holiday season thanks to the return of the Peach County Toy Drive, hosted by FANHAM Charities.
The nonprofit organization is hosting its 5th annual toy drive to help provide toys to children whose families may be struggling during the holidays. Organizers say the need is especially great this year as many families continue to face financial challenges.
The toy drive will take place on December 20 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Allen Temple A.M.E. Church Gymnasium, located at 1235 Jones Road in Byron.
“We understand that times are hard for many families this year, and we want to extend our help to those in need,” said Terrence Fannin, Vice President of FANHAM Charities. “Our goal is to spread joy and make sure children in our community have a brighter holiday season.”
Community members are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys or make monetary contributions to support the effort. Donations can be made through Cash App at $FANHAM or by visiting FANHAMCharities.com.
Organizers say every donation, big or small, helps make a difference and encourages residents to spread the word by sharing the event with friends and family.
