FORT VALLEY, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – On Tuesday at the Trojan Athletic Complex, the Peach County Trojans split their GHSA AAA Semifinals series with the Cherokee Bluff Bears to force a game three Wednesday.
The Trojans lost game one 6-4. Up 3-1, Peach County gave up five runs in the sixth inning to fall in the first matchup of the series.

After the game, Trojans Head Coach Joey Hiller spoke about the team’s success and moving forward into the offseason with a young team.
“{Cherokee Bluff} really knows what it takes to play in a game like this, and we don’t” said Coach Hiller. “The only way to learn that is get the experience in, and hopefully we will learn the lessons and move on, and go from there.”
Coach went onto speak about the past season. “It was a fantastic year. I’m so proud of our guys. So proud of our parents, our program, and our school. My heart breaks for them. We had our share of bad moments today, but we are going to get there, and we are going to continue to work, and grow up, and show up the next day, and give it our best. We are so ready to get to work in the 2025 off-season.”
