Peach County Sheriff’s Office warns residents of asphalt scam

Investigators say the scammers will possibly be in a F-150 with a Massachusetts tag and a fuel tank in the bed. 

PEACH COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Peach County Sheriff’s Office is alerting the community of suspicious individuals attempting to scam residents.

According to the sheriff’s office, the individuals claim they want to sell leftover asphalt.

Investigators say the scammers will possibly be in a F-150 with a Massachusetts tag and a fuel tank in the bed.

Witnesses describe them as a group of darker-skinned either white or Hispanic men with dark hair.
