Peach County deputy fired, accused of “sexting” teen

Fort Valley, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Peach County Sheriff’s Office deputy was fired and arrested after a couple complained about their 17-year-old daughter having a relationship with an older man.

According to the sheriff’s office, the teen and 50-year-old Donald Burnam were exchanging nude photos. Deputies found text and photos on both the teen’s and Burnam’s phone.

Burnam was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of children. He was released on a $8,450 bond
