Partners in Education to host auction, proceeds benefit Bibb County students
Event organizer Jane Bickley says proceeds from the event will provide private music lessons for students in the Bibb County School District.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Partners in Education (P.I.E.) is hosting a silent auction with homemade pies.
The event is March 13 from 9:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Pierce Chapel at Wesleyan College.
Event organizer Jane Bickley says P.I.E. is a community outreach of the Morning Music Club.
Committee member Janice Habersham says more than 100 scholarships have been awarded to musically gifted band and string students from the Bibb County School District since 2023.
Bickley adds that the proceeds from the event benefit the students from Bibb County.
There will be more than 30 pies available to bid on and bidding starts at $25.
