Operation KidSafe, Volkswagen of Macon partner to keep kids safe

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Childhood safety is important to Operation Kidsafe and Volkswagen of Macon.

That’s why they’re working together to help you protect them.

Operation Kidsafe takes your child’s fingerprints and picture and posts them on a sheet that you take home and put in your files–just in case something bad happens.

Volkswagen of Macon General Manager Chad Dobbins says it’s a good way for the dealership to join in to keep kids safe.

“This is just another opportunity for us to reach out to those who can’t take care of themselves, which are the kids, right?” said Dobbins. “So this is an opportunity for parents to take that next step, to be proactive–in the event something happens and their child goes missing or wanders off.”

You can take advantage of Kidsafe Friday from 10 to 6 and and Saturday from 10 to 4 at Volkswagen of Macon on Eisenhower Parkway.
