One injured in shooting at Fort Valley apartment complex, investigation underway

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is recovering after being shot in the “lower extremity” on Wednesday night in Fort Valley, according to a news release by Fort Valley Police Chief DJ Flores.

Chief Flores says the incident happened at Indian Oaks Apartment Complex on East Church Street around 9 p.m. on December 18.

Chief Flores says the 41-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury, and the investigation is ongoing.
