One cooldown this afternoon, another cold front tomorrow night
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – This morning features warmer than average temperatures in the 50s, but don’t expect warmth to be the story today. As a cold front moves through Georgia, temperatures will rise to around the low 70s this afternoon. As a comparison, yesterday’s high was around 79.
It’ll still be sunny, and humidity remains low.
Late Wednesday and early Thursday morning, our next cold front arrives, but unlike today’s, this next one is bringing rainfall. We currently have the arrival pegged around midnight Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Its departure is currently forecasted to be around 7am – 8am Thursday. By that afternoon, we’re right back to sunshine!
This cold front will keep temperatures down even further into the 60s for the weekend. Here’s a look at the forecasted highs the next seven days:
