Officials Rule Atlantic Cotton Mill Fire Undetermined

The fire that destroyed the Atlantic Cotton Mill in Macon last week has been ruled undetermined. According to Captain Tom Musselwhite with the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department, it appears the fire was started by human hand, but seems to be accidental in nature.

There were four individuals who had permission to work on the property at the time of the fire. But were told there were other people on the scene that didn’t have permission.
