Officials ask for residents input on noise barriers along I-75 in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Department of Transportation is asking for residents to come out to a meeting to help talk about noise barriers along I-75 in Macon. 

Residents in the Winship Hills, Shirley Hills, and North Highlands can get a look at where possible noise barriers will be place, and what they’ll look like. 

The first meeting will be held Wednesday night at 708 Pierce Avenue. 

The second, Thursday at 1370 Briarcliff Road. 

Both are scheduled to begin 5 p.m.
