Ocmulgee National Monument celebrates history, lecture series focuses on war battle

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Walnut Creek, the Ocmulgee Nation Monument will give out a series of Civil War lectures.

If you’d like to attend any of the sessions, the event is this Saturday, November 15 from 10 am till 4 pm at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fall auditorium.
