Bibb commissioners plan to continue developing Ocmulgee Heritage Trail
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb Commissioners approved moving forward with plans to develop the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail.
Commissioners will submit an application for $950,000 from the State’s Outdoor
Stewardship Trust Fund.
The funding will go toward developing the Rose Hill Pond and Trail Connector as a unit of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail.
Also, the county will fund this project using $250,000 in SPLOST dollars.
