Oasis 5k Run Looks To Bring Relief In Africa

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’s hard to imagine that helping people in Africa get easier access to fresh water could be so easy, but it’s as simple as putting on your running shoes this weekend.

The Oasis 5k Run is Saturday, April 28th at Wesleyan College. The goal is to raise money to bring relief to a lack of fresh drinking water in Africa.

Betty Hardy joined the Daybreak crew to talk about the event, and how easy it is to help people on the other side of the ocean.
