Not as much rain to start off work week
MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT)- Isolated downpours are likely today with increasing rain chances heading into the new work week.
TODAY.
Under a mostly sunny sky this afternoon temperatures will rise quickly across our area. High temperatures today will top out in the low and middle 90’s. Factoring in the humidity it is going to feel like the triple digits. Isolated showers are likely, but overall coverage will be limited. Tonight, temperatures will fall into the low and middle 70’s. A mostly clear sky is in store for the night!
TOMORROW.
Rain coverage will increase slightly Tuesday as temperatures stay in the middle 90’s. Overnight lows will fall back into the low 70’s.
WEEK AHEAD.
Wednesday will be the wettest day of the work week. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected. Thanks to the added cloud cover we will see temperatures only in the upper 80’s in some spots by the afternoon. Typical summertime afternoon showers and storms return to wrap up the work week. Temperatures will stay near 90° across our area.
