North Central Health District Receives Moderna Vaccine

MACON, GEORGIA (41NBC/WMGT) — The North Central Health District received their first shipment of the Moderna Vaccine last Wednesday.

Health officials started administering the vaccine Saturday.  Healthcare workers exposed to patients with the virus received their injection first.

According to the Health District, they want to administer to frontline workers because they are in need of the vaccine.

Health officials say they have a limited supply.
