Norfolk Southern Engineer Dies While Working in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An engineer with Norfolk Southern Railroad died Monday morning while working in Macon.

According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, 56 -year-old Steve Warren of McDonough fell off the engine of a non moving train.

It happened around 2AM at the Cherokee Brickyard. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Jones says an autopsy will be performed.
