NORAD tracks Santa, how to find him on Christmas Eve

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is preparing to track Santa on Christmas Eve.

NORAD has been tracking Santa for 69 years. The website to track Santa is available for people beginning on December 1. On December 24, people can track Santa online or through an app.

The website includes a holiday countdown, games, a movie theater, holiday music, web store and more.

The website is available in nine languages:

  • English
  • French
  • Spanish
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Portuguese
  • Chinese
  • Korean

People can call 1-877-HI-NORAD to ask live operators about Santa’s location from 6 a.m. to midnight MST.

Website visitors will see Santa’s flight from 4 a.m. to midnight MST.
