No injuries after Anchor Glass facility fire in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Fire crews in Warner Robins put out hot spots Friday afternoon at the Anchor Glass facility on Booth Road.

A news release from the Warner Robins Fire Department says flames were visible on the roof of the building around 12:52 p.m.

Anchor Glass has its own fire brigade trained to put out fires. Warner Robins firefighters were called in to help.

The fire is out.

A grease buildup ignited in a chimney vent system — that caused the fire.

No one was injured.
