Nice and sunny days ahead

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all across Middle Georgia! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and managed to stay dry. This past week we experienced between 1 to 3 inches of rain across Middle Georgia. This morning, we are seeing temperatures in the lower 60s accompanied by clear skies. This afternoon, temperatures are expected to rise to the lower to mid-80s with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures for Election Day on Tuesday will be quite similar, perhaps a degree or two warmer, with abundant sunshine. The forecast for Wednesday will be much the same. Temperatures are expected to rise into the 90s from Thursday through the Memorial Day weekend, with a few pop-up thunderstorms possible. Not much rain is expected overall in the next seven days.
