New Southern History Class at Mercer for Teachers

Georgia teachers now have a chance to brush up on their knowledge of southern history.  Mercer University is offering a five week intensive course on southern culture and every aspect of the cotton industry.

The class is funded by a federal grant from “National Endowment for the Humanities.”

The course will be open to 25 teachers next summer.
