New officers, board named for Career Women’s Network of Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Career Women’s Network (CWN) of Macon announced their 2015-2016  new officers and Board Members on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Macon Marriott Center.

Career Women’s Network  is an organization that aims to bring  women of achievement together to network and build relationships that can enhance the image and effectiveness of women.

The new officers are President of  Middle Georgia State University, Beth Byers,  President Elect of Central Georgia Technical College, Ann Lear, First Vice President of Central Georgia Technical College, Parris Story, Correspondence Secretary  of  Georgia State College and State University, Arleen Samuels,  Recording Secretary of Macon Water Authority, Lisa Gilbert, Treasurer of  State Bank and Trust, Christy West,  and  Past President of Macon Water Authority, Jocelyn Hunt.

Board of Directors Class of 2015-2017 includes Dianna Glymph, Gigi Rolfes, Jean Denerson, Donna Drummond, Lisa Golphin and Megan Allen.

Board of Directors Class of 2014-2016 includes Gigi Rolfes, Judy Hodgens, Beverly Dawson, Montene Carroll, and Emeritus Member: Tammie Collins.

“It is an honor to serve as president of this prestigious organization,” says Beth Byers, President of Middle Georgia State University.

The Board makes policy decisions, authorizes rulemaking and oversees the general operations of the organization.
