New Mercer University Bookstore Opens

There’s a new place to browse for books in Downtown Macon. The Mercer University Barnes and Noble Bookstore opened Thursday.

The new building is around 7,600  square feet.  It features an expanded text book section and Mercer University clothing line.

At the end of next week, the Law School’s bookstore will merge with the new one. The facility took less than a year to build and was strategically built to add convenience to the community and help develop the area.

The bookstore is open Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays from 9am-3pm. Barnes and Noble will hold an official grand opening on March 17th.
