New Education SPLOST In Houston County Set For Vote In November

Residents in Houston County will get to vote on an extension for an education penny tax this November. The one percent sales tax for an additional five years will help fund important Houston County School projects, like technology upgrades, more security cameras,
and new school facilities, like a stadium. If residents vote yes,
the SPLOST extension will have a $125 million limit.
