Nece Hopson Memorial Foundation hosts school supplies giveaway

The school supply give away will be July 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Deloris Toliver Park Pavilion in Warner Robins.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Nece Hopson Memorial Foundation is hosting a school supply give away in Warner Robins.

Henry and Brenda Hopson started the foundation in 2001 after their daughter passed away. Brenda Hopson says the goal of the foundation is to serve those in need and keep the memory of her daughter alive.

The school supply give away will be July 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Deloris Toliver Park Pavilion in Warner Robins.

There will be school supplies, personal hygiene bags, lunch and ice cream for attendees. The event is free and open to the community.

There are 250 school bags that will be given away. If you do not get a bag, you will have your name added to a list and receive one at a later date.
