Navicent Health ends partnership with Oconee Regional Health Systems

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Navicent Health is no longer partnering with Oconee Regional Health Systems.

Navicent’s Chief Operation Officer Rhonda Perry said in a statement:

“With the recent change in leadership along with having heard and clearly understood the direction of both the Baldwin County Commission and community physicians, we have decided it best to terminate the management agreement between Oconee Regional Health Systems, Inc and Navicent Health.”

Oconee Regional Medical Center announced the partnership last year to better use resources and help patients in Baldwin County receive better healthcare.

41NBC reached out to representatives from Oconee Regional Health Systems. We are waiting to hear back.
