Nationwide recalls issued for supplements, vehicles, treadmills, and household products

Health, fire, and injury risks prompt multiple recalls affecting food, fitness equipment, vehicles, and consumer goods

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Several nationwide recalls are affecting food products, vehicles, fitness equipment, household cleaners, and consumer goods, with officials urging consumers to check their homes and stop using certain items immediately.

Supplement recalled after salmonella outbreak

A nationwide recall has been issued for Live It Up Super Greens powdered supplement following a multi-state salmonella outbreak, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

Health officials say 45 cases have been linked to the product, with at least 12 people hospitalized. The recall includes both the Original and Wild Berry flavors.

The product was sold through the company’s website, as well as Amazon and Walmart. Consumers who purchased the supplement are advised to throw it away and contact the company for a refund.

Ford recalls vehicles over fire risk

Ford is recalling approximately 116,000 vehicles due to a potential fire risk.

The recall includes certain Ford Focus, Ford Explorer, and Lincoln vehicles from model years 2013 through 2019. According to the recall notice, engine block heaters may crack and develop coolant leaks, increasing the risk of a fire.

Dealers will replace the block heaters at no cost to vehicle owners.

Treadmill recall expanded due to overheating reports

Johnson Health is expanding a recall to include 47,000 Matrix Retail and Vision treadmills because of a fire hazard.

The company says the power cord can become loose from the treadmill’s power socket, creating a risk of overheating. There have been more than two dozen reports of overheating.

Multiple models with certain serial numbers are included: Matrix Retail T30, TF30, T50, TF50, and T75 treadmills, Vision T9800, TF20, T40, and T80 treadmills. The treadmills were sold online and through various retailers. Customers with affected units will receive a replacement power cord.

Cleaner pulled from shelves over bacteria concerns

Stores across the U.S. are pulling Angry Orange Stain and Odor Remover Enzyme Cleaner from shelves over the possibility of bacteria in the product.

The recall affects more than 1.5 million bottles in 24-ounce, 32-ounce and one-gallon sizes. The cleaner was sold by multiple retailers, including Walmart and Target, with some products bundled with an attachable UV light.

People with weakened immune systems, underlying lung conditions, or those using external medical devices could face a risk of serious infection. No illnesses have been reported.

Chia seeds recalled over salmonella concerns

Navitas Organics is voluntarily recalling its organic chia seeds after concerns that some packages may be contaminated with salmonella.

The 8-ounce packages were distributed nationwide to stores and online retailers, including Amazon. Most recalled products have expiration dates in April or May 2027.

The company says there have been no reports of illness. Consumers should throw away the product or return it for a refund.

Rocker chairs recalled due to fall hazard

Academy Sports and Outdoors has issued a nationwide recall for more than 35,000 Magellan-branded Odyssey rocker chairs.

The company says the legs can break, creating a fall and injury hazard. The recall applies to chairs manufactured in July and August 2025.

Customers are urged to stop using the chairs immediately and return them to any Academy Sports and Outdoors store for a full refund.
