NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series East Drivers Tackle Gresham Motorsports Park This Saturday

nascarknJEFFERSON, GA – The midway point of the 25th season for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will see drivers tackle the half-male asphalt oval at Gresham Motorsports Park with the Slack Auto Parts 150 this Saturday, June 11.

Four Georgia drivers will be in the field including Max Gresham who currently sits third in series points. He has two wins, three poles and nine top 10s in 18 career starts and drives the #18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Another well-known name is Dawsonville’s Chase Elliott, son of 1988 NASCAR Cup champ Bill Elliott. Currently 15th in points, he became the first 15-year-old to compete in a NASCAR touring series race earlier this year at Greenville Pickens Speedway, where he finished fourth.

Elliott drives the #9 Chevrolet out of the Bill Elliott Racing shops with technical support from Hendrick Motorsports, who he has signed a multi-year development deal with.

Other Georgia drivers include Brandon Haley (#51 Ford) and Andrew Smith (#62 Chevrolet).

The evening will be full of racing action with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series cars as well as Outlaw Late Model, Mini Stock, Truck, Renegade and Mini Cup racing action. For more information about GMP and the event click HERE.
