Music Hall Board Quiet on Future of Museum
Tuesday, marked the first meeting of the Georgia Music hall of Fame Authority Board after closing the bidding process on December 10th.
Athens, Dahlonega, Dunwoody, and Woodstock are the four other cities interested in having the Music Hall relocated to their city.
Information about what each city is offering remains confidential as board members begin to evaluate the proposals.
Board member, Karla Redding-Andrews, says she expects an announcement to come in February. The board will meet again on January 3rd in Macon, to discuss the possibility of setting up interviews with the interested cities if the board needs any further clarification on a city’s proposal.
