MTA to offer Teen Summer Bus Pass

The bus pass will be valid from June 1 to July 31. 

BIBB COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority is offering a Teen Summer Bus Pass for ages 13 to 18.

Jami Gaudet, Public Information Officer at Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority, says the bus pass will be valid from June 1 to July 31.

The Teen Summer Bus Pass costs $25 for unlimited use.

Registration for the Teen Summer Bus Pass begins May 31. Parents can register their teenagers for the program at the Terminal Station Office.

Gaudet says you will need proof of age and proof of school enrollment. Students can use a school report card, certificate of school enrollment, or student summary report on a smart phone or hard copy to provide proof.

Applicants need to complete the application  and will have a photo taken on-site.

Students will receive a MTA Teen ID and student ride card which is needed to ride the MTA bus.
