MPD Looking for Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police are on the lookout for a suspect wanted for attempted armed robbery.
According to a MPD news release, a black male entered the Forsyth Food Mart at 4451 Forsyth Road and demanded money from the counter. He was reportedly armed with a silver revolver.
An employee then informed the suspect that an alarm had been activated and that the police were alerted, causing him to flee the scene without any cash or merchandise.
The suspect was wearing all black clothing, including a stocking cap, bandana over his face, and a long coat. He also wore black shoes with a white logo, and is approximately 5’6″ in height and 170 lbs.
