MPD: Home Invasion Suspect Found Hiding Under House

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man suspected in a home invasion was arrested after officers found him hiding under a house.

Givante Scott, 23, was taken into custody is charged with armed robbery.

According to Macon Police, on Friday, Scott allegedly broke into a home on Bennell Street, wearing a ski mask and armed with a gun. The elderly home owner was leaving to check the mail, when Scott allegedly, approached her and pushed her out his way, causing her to fall.

The woman fled and call police. When officers arrived, Scott was found hiding under an abandoned house on a nearby street. The gun and ski mask were also located.
