Motorcyclist Dies Following Weekend Crash

A Lizella man who crashed his motorcycle Sunday night has died from head trauma. 

According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, Thomas Carmichael was pronounced dead, shortly before noon Tuesday at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Deputies say a 16-year-old rear-ended Carmichael’s Harley Davidson at the intersection of Hartley Bridge and Fulton Mill Road. 

The accident is still under investigation.
