Motorcyclist dies after crashing into bus head-on

EAST POINT, Georgia (AP) – A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a bus in East Point.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://on-ajc.com/1t494ao ) reports that the incident occurred Thursday after the unidentified motorcyclist crossed the center line of a roadway and hit the bus head-on.

The victim was pinned under the bus and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority spokesman Lyle Harris says the driver of the bus was taken to a hospital for mandatory testing. He says four people were aboard the bus, but no injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
