Mother of Man Charged with Vehicular Homicide: My Son is not a Criminal

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man has been indicted and charged with vehicular homicide after a train struck the car he was driving, killing his daughter and girlfriend. His mother, Betty Jackson-Lyons, wants everyone to know, her son is not a criminal.

In May, a train collided with the car Willie Lyons was driving at the intersection of Ignico Drive. Willie survived but his daughter Kinsley and girlfriend Donnell Reid died. Now Willie is being charged in their deaths.
