Most of Middle Georgia won’t see a drop of rain through tomorrow
Middle Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – High pressure keeps our weather dry through the weekend. And I’m not just talking about minimal rainfall; I’m talking about the humidity. Dew points are going to be low, meaning humidity will be low.
FYI: dew points show where the temperature would have to be to have complete saturation in the air. If your temperature is 73 degrees and the dew point is also 73, you have full saturation and 100% humidity. Okay, back to the forecast!
The low humidity returns tomorrow afternoon, as well, so expect pleasant weather overall today and tomorrow.
Early next week, a trough enters the Peach State, which will increase the moisture in the air and increase rain and storm chances early next week to potentially late next week. Highs will remain in the low 90s.
