Morning Report: Gas prices expected to rise after OPEC Plus announcement
Gas prices may have hit their low for the year. OPEC Plus announced a surprise production cut. Experts say that could drive the U.S. gas price average to 4 dollars a gallon.
The vast majority of U.S. adults didn’t feel prepared to handle money after graduating high school. That’s 88 percent, according to a study done by Ramsey Education. Confidence increased among adults who took a personal finance class in high school. Those who did were five times more likely to say they graduated fully prepared for handling money in the real world.
The DOW closed 300 points higher to kick off April.

The company behind Peeps, Just Born, says it manufactures all the candies in compliance with FDA regulations. They also claim to source their ingredients and packaging exclusively from reputable suppliers who adhere to high quality and safety standards.
American Airlines CEO Robert Isom says pilot pay would be boosted by $8 billion over four years under a contract proposed. In a video message to pilots, Isom reiterated that American’s proposal replicates the economics of Delta Airlines’ new contract. This is a promise he made in March after Delta closed an industry-leading deal that awarded cumulative pay raises of 40 percent. American Airlines is also in talks with its flight attendants union.
