Morning Business Report: TSA officers stopped over 3,000 firearms during first half of 2022

Shipping companies are still talking in an attempt to prevent a strike that could lead to more supply chain disruptions.

TSA officers have stopped over 3,000 firearms from passing through security checkpoints within the first six months of 2022. On average, agents have stopped 17 firearms at checkpoints each day.

Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and others are planning their own sales day to compete with Amazon Prime days.
