Morning Business Report: Starbucks union asks to extend pay hikes and benefits to unionized stores

General Motors has new program to stop its hottest models from getting flipped for sky-high prices. The Cadillac Escalade-V will launch soon and is expected to be flipped for more money.

According to a Gallup poll, younger people expressed optimism that they’ll be able to retire early, closer to their 60s.

The Starbucks union asks the coffee giant to extend pay hikes and benefits to unionized stores. In May, the coffee chain announced it would raise wages for workers at nonunionized stores. The company said it is unable to make changes at organized stores.
