Google scored a major legal victory this week.

(LILAMAX)- Google scored a major legal victory this week as a judge ruled the company does not have to sell its Chrome browser or Android operating system. The decision marks a significant setback for the Justice Department, which argued Google operated as a monopoly. However, the court did rule that Google can no longer maintain exclusive search deals.

Amazon is also making changes, phasing out its Prime Invitee Program that allowed members to share free shipping benefits with people outside their household. Starting October 1, Prime perks can only be shared through Amazon Family, which is limited to one other adult at the same address.

On Wall Street, stocks fell sharply amid growing uncertainty over tariffs. A court ruled the tariffs were mostly illegal, sending the case to the Supreme Court.

In the fast-food world, Taco Bell is leaning into nostalgia by reviving five menu items from the early 2000s. The Y2K-themed lineup includes the Caramel Apple Empanada, Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos, 7-Layer Burrito, Double Decker Taco, and Chili Cheese Burrito — all priced under $3.

And according to a new survey by Talker Research, seven in ten Americans say they base major life decisions on non-logical factors like intuition, prayer, or “vibes.” Two in five Gen Z respondents admitted relying on social media posts, while many millennials cited “cosmic signs from the universe” when making choices about jobs, moves, or relationships.
