Morning Business Report: Banana Boat recalls hair and scalp sunscreen over carcinogen

A union representing nearly 2,500 employees at Boeing defense said they voted on the company’s contract offer, canceling a strike. Union members rejected the previous offer from the company a week ago.

Banana Boat recalled hair and scalp sunscreen over low levels of carcinogen. The Food and Drug administration said consumers should immediately stop using the product if it came from any of the three batches recalled.

Southwest has hired 10,000 new employees in 2022 and plans to bring in between 3,000 and 5,000 more.
