More Summer time Heat, with Severe Storms Possible

It is pretty much awful outside right now folks.  If you have to go outside today, work, or whatever reason please take some extra water with you.  Temperatures are near the upper 90’s to near 100 degrees, but it feels like the low 100’s with the humidity factored in.  I can’t stress enough to stay hydrated!!  Severe thunderstorms are possible tomorrow for most of Middle Georgia as we are in a slight risk for them.  North Georgia is in an “enhanced” risk for Severe thunderstorms.  Now, that doesn’t mean it will happen, but there are some signs that the ingrediants are there for the possibility of them.  The biggest threats from the storms would be from strong damaging winds, and some hail threat as well.  There could be a very isolated Tornado or two, again mainly in North Georgia.  Looking ahead, it will continue to be hot this week.  There will be some storm chances for the next 7 days, but chances are not that good.  Better chances late weekend and into next week.  Stay hydrated folks!
