Montezuma woman arrested for trafficking cocaine, trading with inmates
The Montezuma Police Department executed arrests warrants for 23-year-old Mary Thomas on April 1.

MONTEZUMA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Montezuma woman was arrested for trafficking cocaine and trading with inmates on Tuesday, according to the Montezuma Police Department.
The Montezuma Police Department executed arrests warrants for 23-year-old Mary Thomas on April 1.
According to the news release, officers went to an apartment within the 100 block of Walnut Street to arrest Thomas, but she was not at her residence. Officers learned that Thomas was in the area of Country Village Apartments on Vienna Road. Thomas was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Macon County Jail.
Thomas is charged with trafficking of cocaine, items prohibited for possession by inmates without warden’s authorization, crossing guard lines with a weapon, drugs or intoxicants, and trading with inmates.
